What do I do with the mites after the alcohol wash or sugar roll
Mites can survive both the sugar roll and alcohol wash so you'll want to dispose of them away from the apiary and any flowers so they don't get back on a bee. Below is a video of a mite that survived an alcohol wash of over 2 minutes in the late summer of 2018 in NH.
